Do you like cookbooks? Personally I LOVE them. Yeah it's nice to find recipes online super-fast, but you can't beat sitting down with a cookbook and leafing through the pages marking off which recipes you want to try and drooling at all the pictures. Betty Crocker has revamped and reprinted it's "Big Red Cookbook" (it’s chock-a-block full of 1500 recipes for the way we cook today) and I'm giving away 1 copy to one of my lucky readers! The Betty Crocker Cookbook is valued at approximately $35.99 and will be
available through Amazon, Indigo and Chapters, BettyCrocker.com and
Wiley Publishing.
How can I win this awesome cookbook you ask? Here's how:

I need to try to make the cookies!! LOL as sad as it is, the cookie is the one item I cannot perfect! Perhaps Betty Crocker (or you!!) will have a suggestion as to why every cookie I try to make comes out too hard, over cooked (I think I can figure that reason out!), or just plain not good!
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing. I want to make them for my daughters 1st birthday!! https://lifemadedelicious.ca/en/Recipes/B/Butterfly-Cupcake-Petits-Fours.aspx

ReplyDeleteI tried and loved every single recipe in it, but I think it's good enough that you can customize to your taste as you cook more. It also has great reference info - why all of your cookies do not rise to the techniques of carving the meat to determine the appropriate table to measure Equivalencies.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the Butternut Squash Cupcake idea! I love baked goods with hidden veggies in them ;)

ReplyDeleteThe new Betty Crocker Big Red Cookbook is amazing, the pictures and descriptions are exactly what I need. I was never taught how to cook growing up and am making it up as I try to feed my family, lol. The Chicken Pot Pies and Chocolate Chip cookies are a good start for me!
